Course Outline: International Law - This course explores international trade law and practice including: Contract Formation, Dispute Resolution, Transportation Terms, Cargo Risk Management and Insurance, Title and related documents, INCO-transportation Terms, Intellectual Property in international trade. No prerequisite. Knowledge of International Trade practices is critical in the new global economy.

BUSINESS LAW (BLAW 3100)

Course Outline A practical study of Canadian computer, internet and general business law. including the legal system and structure. Topics include, but are not limited to sale of goods and consumer transactions; computer-related employment law issues; business organizations; intellectual property (including copyrights, patents, confidential information); software/music piracy, licensing, website liability issues, electronic commerce; computer crime, internet ethics, & privacy issues; (4 Credits)
